When to use AI Strengths Finder

Career inflection points, performance reviews, post-project reflection, or just a Sunday afternoon when you want a clearer picture of how you actually operate. The interview is short on purpose — seven questions, each about real behavior, not personality theory. The model runs on your own hardware inside your browser tab, so the conversation stays private; nothing reaches a server. The report names what you do well, where it shows up most clearly, and one note on where you could grow. You can save results locally to track how your strengths shift over time with different roles or projects, or download a branded PNG card to share in a portfolio or team introduction. The ten strengths in the taxonomy were chosen to be generic and practical, not tied to any proprietary framework.

  • Prep for a performance review with a personal strengths summary
  • Notice patterns after finishing a long project
  • Find language for a cover letter or LinkedIn About section

About this tool

A short conversational interview — about three minutes — that asks how you work, learn, and connect with people. The AI assembles a personal report ranking your top five strengths from a set of ten common ones, with a paragraph on each. The model runs in your browser tab, so your answers and the report stay on your computer. No upload, no account, nothing logged.

Tips

  • Pick the option that resonates first; overthinking blurs the signal.
  • Retake later if your situation changes — strengths shift with context.
  • Save a result before retaking to compare across time.

Frequently asked

Does my conversation get sent to a server?
No. The language model runs in this browser tab using a small local model. Your selections and the final report never leave your computer.
How long does it take?
Seven questions, around three minutes. The first visit downloads a model file (cached for next time).
Is this a clinical assessment?
No. It is a reflective tool, not a psychometric test. Use it to surface patterns and language for how you work, not as a diagnostic.
Why are there only ten strengths?
Ten broad strengths cover most of what people care about while keeping the report readable. We avoided proprietary frameworks (CliftonStrengths is trademarked, for example) and chose a generic, practical set.
